Staff Sgt. Brian Thompkins, NCO in Charge of the American Forces Network Weather Center at Offutt Air Force Base, Neb., records a script for one of 11 regional forecasts a staff of eight produces daily. More than 7-million viewers make use of the forecasts world wide via AFN and the Pentagon Channel. Thompkins is a seven-year Air Force veteran originally from Baltimore City, Maryland. (Photo by G.
