Mr. Christopher T. Finnigsmier is currently serving as the Technical Director of the 557th Weather Wing, Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska. In his role as Technical Director, he assists the commander with the direction, guidance, and oversight of all aspects of execution of the wing’s mission to enable the exploitation of timely, accurate, and relevant weather information to satisfy centralized weather support requirements of the Air Force, Army, Joint Chiefs of Staff, designated unified and specified commands, and national program customers.
Mr. Finnigsmier is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy and was commissioned in 1996.
Throughout his career, he has served as a weather officer at the base level and a program manager, Executive Officer, and Deputy Director at the Field Operating Agency level.
