Chief Master Sergeant Kevin A. Paul Jr. is the Command Chief, 557th Weather Wing, Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska. He advises the Commander on all issues regarding health, welfare, morale and effective utilization of more than 1,450 personnel serving at 19 locations around the world. The 557th Weather Wing provides centralized weather products and services; including climatological and space weather support to Air Force, Army, Joint Force and other Department of Defense activities enabling air and space superiority, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, rapid global mobility, global strike and command and control in support of all geographic and functional combatant commands. Chief Paul entered the Air Force in July, 2000. In March 2001, he graduated the 28-week Intelligence Applications course at Goodfellow Air Force Base, Texas.
Chief Paul has served in a variety of all-source analysis and targeting roles in Air Combat Command, Air Mobility Command, and Pacific Air Forces. Additionally, he deployed eight times to the African, European, Southwest Asian, and Pacific theaters. He also served as a MAJCOM Functional Manager.
Prior to assuming his current position, he served as the Senior Enlisted Advisor, 1st Joint Special Operations Air Component, Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
